The materials will be used to assist students with creating projects for school-wide events that include cross-curricular content. The students will create works of art that support their learning in art and incorporate S.T.E.M., ELA, and Math skills and align with the Nevada State Academic Standards. The students will participate in social-emotional learning that includes growth mindset content. The students have been learning how to engage their creativity in expressing their ideas, thoughts, and meaningful subjects within their artwork. The grades include K-5th grade in the subject of art. The Nevada State Academic Standards for Fine Art include the following strands: Creating VA:Cr3.K.1 Explain the process of making art while creating Presenting VA:Pr4.K.1 Select art objects for personal portfolio and display, explaining why they were chosen.
