The tripods, film clappers, and iPad have helped bring our lessons to life, allowing students to experience a true hands-on practice. Having enough equipment for every group to use at the same time has made collaboration smoother and more meaningful, and students are able to fully engage in the creative process without waiting or feeling left out.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for my students is how professional the equipment makes them feel. Using the film clappers and tripods gives them a sense of confidence and pride, as if they are working in a real studio. I have seen students who were once hesitant to participate step into leadership roles behind the camera, eager to direct, film, and problem-solve with their peers. Students are incredibly respectful of the equipment and truly understand how special it is to have access to tools like these.\r\n\r\nThe iPad has been especially impactful for groups who do not have their own devices, allowing them to use a teleprompter and fully participate in our broadcasting projects. These materials have opened doors to experiences my students would never have had without your support. The students are so engaged in our classroom even more so now that we are able to use flexible seating during our daily activities. The students come in asking to use the flexible seating options. Within the first 10 minutes of class, we see who is working diligently and earning an opportunity to use the bean bag chairs. In turn, students' work habits and behaviors have improved. \r\n\r\nWhen the boxes arrived in our classroom, the students were thrilled to see the new materials. Students placed the bean bag chairs to maximize their comfort while reading independently or while working in a small group. Students are thrilled to use the headsets we also received, as they love to hear audio versions of novels we are reading. \r\n\r\nStudents will be prepping for their upcoming state test in April. We want every student to maintain their motivation and diligence while prepping for this assessment.
