The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will have a designated space within our classroom. The carpet will be placed in the back of the classroom and used as a space for students to work independently or in groups, and for students who benefit from being able to move more freely. The round and flower shaped tables will allow for students to facilitate in discussions in a more meaningful way, as the seating is arranged so students face one another but allows for ample working space. In addition, these tables can be utilized for different stations or activities during lessons. The U-shaped table will be utilized for small group instruction and mini-lessons. The clipboards and lap desks will be offered to students, so they may work where they are comfortable.
