My students' engagement and participation increases when I am able to incorporate technology into the lesson. I am constantly using photos, PowerPoints, videos, and other types of media to engage my students, but it is difficult for all of them to focus on one board when there are 30+ students in the class, or even in a 12:1 setting. The Chromebooks would enable my students, specifically those with learning disabilities who have visual and auditory processing delays the ability to have this material right in front of them. Not only will this technology help them with this project, it will benefit them throughout all of the units for the school year. It will involve them in their learning, which essentially will increase their engagement, participation, and overall academic success!
