Each student went home with a bag containing their custom play-doh mat, 1-2 tubs of play-doh, a rolling pin, and play-doh stamps.\r\n\r\nThe students were very excited to take home their bag of goodies. Parents reached out with gratitude for the gift and that their child was excited to practice their speech therapy targets at home. We printed through all of the options that came preloaded and students loved stopping into the library to see what it as doing and what it ended up printing. \r\nWe have started our project with our 5th grade students to create class mascots. The first class has completed the project and their mascot is a hummingbird that we just finished printing. Each student had to research and draw their idea for the classes mascot and then they all voted on the top choice for their classroom. We will move onto the next class now so that each class can have one before the end of the year. \r\nWe can't wait to continue exploring and creating with this device. Every student in the building wants to try and print something so we hope to allow each class the opportunity by the end of next school year. We may try and get a second printer so we can maybe run more projects at one time as well.
