My Project I am requesting two bean bag chairs to create a cozy reading area for students to read from the art classroom library. I believe that such a comfortable “book nook” can help achieve our district goals of improving reading proficiency. Books will be read by my students. Book buddies can read together about the artists that we are studying. Early finishers of art projects can take better advantage of the time by reading. I can also imagine students reading to one another, especially to support our English language learners. Students can also read separately and share about what they read with the class.
