They immediately dove into the new early reader book sets, proudly choosing \"just right\" books from our growing library. Each student now has their own sturdy book bin to keep their favorites organized, and it has transformed our reading block into a calm, purposeful time. One student whispered, \"This is my special book box!\" with the biggest smile. She adored the bright pink color. \r\n\r\n\r\nWe've also set up learning folders with the folders, sheet protectors, and dry erase markers you provided. During our literacy centers, students rotate with confidence, grabbing their folders and diving into independent practice. The organization has not only helped them feel ownership of their learning but has also kept our classroom running smoothly.\r\n\r\n\r\nThe next step for us is to expand our reading stamina and fluency with these books. We are beginning a unit where students will track their reading goals and celebrate progress along the way. They are so excited everyday to have the opportunity to chose a different chair or cushion. They know that everyday at 9 they get to pick their seat for the day. If I'm late they make sure I know that we need to pick seats for the day! For my students it's probably the most important thing that happens in their day. \r\nThe wobble chairs and cushions give my students the opportunity to get their wiggles out. They are able to move and shake in an appropriate way that does not disrupt any leaning.
