The sensory materials you provided have become an essential part of our daily routine. My students use them every day to help them regulate their emotions and stay focused throughout the day. One of the most rewarding moments was when they first saw the materials—there was a sense of excitement and relief, as many of my students immediately connected with the calming effects of the items.\r\n\r\nWe are currently using the sensory tools to enhance focus during lessons and to create a more comfortable learning environment for everyone. In the coming weeks, my students will continue to incorporate these materials into our classroom projects, especially as they work on group activities that require patience and collaboration. Your donation has truly helped improve our classroom dynamic, and I'm excited to see how these resources continue to support my students' well-being and growth.\r\n\r\nThank you again for making such a meaningful impact in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1733267049224,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-in-the-classroom/8967102/","projectTitle":"Sensory in the Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Bridgers","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4206290_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1515065240301","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4206290"},{"teacherId":4206290,"projectId":8957921,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donation to my class. Your contribution has made a tremendous difference in my students' learning experience. With the addition of new books to our classroom library, students have developed a deeper enthusiasm for reading. They are more engaged during independent reading time, and it's wonderful to see them reflecting on the texts through written responses. These books have introduced important literacy skills such as identifying themes, making inferences, and developing critical thinking.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is not just about finishing a book; it's about connecting with the material and sharing thoughts and opinions with peers. Some students have shown a particular excitement for the new titles, especially those who were once reluctant readers. These books have sparked their imaginations and boosted their confidence, leading to meaningful discussions and greater participation in class.\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your support. It is making a lasting impact on my students and their love of reading.","fullyFundedDate":1732399285222,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-library/8957921/","projectTitle":"Classroom Library","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Bridgers","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4206290_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1515065240301","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4206290"},{"teacherId":2995899,"projectId":8555015,"letterContent":"I am astounded by your generosity. We are always looking for ways to help our scholars develop their critical thinking skills. We don't often have all of the resources that other schools have, but that does not dampen our desire to present our students with the best that we can.\r\n\r\nI'd been exposed to Ozobots at a training many years ago and wanted to get our scholars into coding. However, many of our students are reading below grade level, so it was a challenge to see how we could meet that goal. Ozobots were the solution to that problem. Once students were able to code using only color coding, it is an easy segway into using block coding. The students are so excited to try to get their Ozobots to do various things. Utilizing the Ozobot education site, has provided various challenges that are really pushing our scholars to think outside of the box.\r\n\r\nWe appreciate this addition to our makerspace program.","fullyFundedDate":1725284739263,"projectUrl":"project/rolling-into-stem/8555015/","projectTitle":"Rolling Into STEM","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Jones","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2995899_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1503954087595","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/sherrijones"},{"teacherId":8310169,"projectId":8485055,"letterContent":"It is with gratitude that I say thank you. If not for your giving, my students would not be enjoying the supplies you all helped to purchase for them. Having a great start to a new school year can be the difference in being prepared to learn and being able to start from day one to learn. The supplies like the rolling white board made it possible for my students to particpate in finding and making the letters we are practicing. Some of my students will write on the board and realize they can do it! I smile every time! When we use the board to keep score on who can \"Find that letter!\" it is fun in learning by all and the winning team, who chooses the snack, always share with their opponents. Everyone wins and everyone learns. So with that said, we have a lot to thank you all for. For the kindness in your heart, the donations you gave, and the kind words. Just knowing you helped me to help them is amazing once again.\r\nMy students are very special to me, and I try to pay attention to when and what they eat so that I can keep a snack or two in the room or oatmeal to have them focused on something other than eating like their schoolwork.
