Using the Apple iPad, my students will be able to learn through interactive lessons using the apps available in the Apple store. Most of the learning apps are free or low cost. The students will be able to utilize the app Starfall which, helps them identify letters and letter sounds. Apps like ABC Mouse, Learn Mental Math, Time Tables all help the students be independent. Learning Mental Math will help the students be able to accomplish more in adding, subtracting and measuring. When students can function in an area independently, it is a confidence booster. The English and grammar app will allow the students to be able to form sentences. These skills will be used at home as well as in the classroom. The apps can be accessed at home on a computer or through their parents iPad.
