For many of our high school students, this was their very first experience using a sewing machine—and now they're confidently sewing on their own. Having additional machines available has made an enormous difference. Students who had never threaded a needle before are now completing their first projects. Their biggest accomplishment so far has been creating their own tote bags from start to finish.
