My Project My students will benefit from the Mac Book Pro laptop in that I use it for everything! I use it for course/curriculum planning, parent/student communication, maintaining a course/curriculum website, creating and presenting content in the classroom, counsel and record keeping, etc. My students will directly benefit from this laptop through the images, maps, videos, and up-to-the-minute information to social-emotional learning core competencies (self-awareness, social awareness, self-management, relationship skills, and responsible decision making). These competencies are the skills that I feel will allow my students to regulate their emotions, make friends, resolve conflicts respectfully, avoid engaging in risky behaviors, and make ethical and safe choices.
