Our school is composed of a dynamic and widely diverse students body, with almost 600 students from across San Diego County, selected randomly in a zip code-based lottery. We have a large population of students from families and communities with low socioeconomic status. We have a large number of students with Independent Education Plans, or IEPs, and all students are fully integrated into every classroom. We also have many students who are English Language Learners. We are a project-based learning school, and our students are collaborative, hands-on learners.
