The first time we used them was during a hands-on experiment about plant growth, and my students were completely engaged—measuring, observing, and recording their findings like real scientists. One student even said, \"This makes science feel like an adventure!\" Moments like that remind me how powerful the right tools can be.\r\n\r\nWhat's amazing is that these materials aren't just for science. We've already started using them in reading groups to build vocabulary and support writing activities. For example, students used magnifying tools from our science kit to closely observe leaves, then wrote descriptive paragraphs about what they saw. It's helping them make connections across subjects, and they're learning that science, reading, and writing all work hand-in-hand.\r\n\r\nNext, we're starting a unit on ecosystems, and I can't wait to see how these resources will deepen their understanding while sparking curiosity in every subject we tackle.","fullyFundedDate":1750514009880,"projectUrl":"project/science-experiment-on-climate-change/9365569/","projectTitle":"Science Experiment on Climate Change","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Barajas","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10036448_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1761698823738","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10036448"},{"teacherId":271071,"projectId":8205258,"letterContent":"It has been wonderful seeing the students engage in communication as they pretend to be the teacher.
