Your kindness has helped transform a corner of our classroom into a healing-centered space where students can pause, breathe, and care for their emotional well-being.\r\n\r\nSince introducing this space, I've noticed a powerful shift in how students manage stress and emotions. The journals have become a trusted outlet for students to process their thoughts privately, and the mindfulness workbooks have sparked thoughtful conversations about self-esteem, confidence, and coping strategies. Even students who were initially hesitant have embraced the calm corner as a place to regroup when they're overwhelmed or simply need a moment of peace. One student told me, \"It feels good to have a place that's just for breathing.\"\r\n\r\nThe fidgets have also played a quiet but important role in helping students refocus without disruption, especially during transitions or moments of heightened anxiety. Our calm oasis has become more than just a cozy nook—it's now a part of our classroom culture that says, \"Your feelings matter, and it's okay to take care of yourself.\"\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students' emotional growth. I teach preschoolers, which in my opinion is the best grade level to teach because it is so rewarding. When they first come in they are clean slates. Most can barely hold a pencil and know little to no letters or numbers, but when you get to see their progress at the end of the year it feels so good to know that you had a hand at giving them that head start. \r\nWith your donation I am able to get the resources we need to see that progress at the end of the year. Phonics and fine motor skills are some of the biggest components of early learning and the materials you helped us get, provided a way for us to practice those skills. My students love the using whisper phones during our Fundations letter review and during small groups. It allows them to get a better understanding of how the sounds are made. The textured letters allows them to feel how the letters are formed. It makes them feel a little more independent after using the tracing cards. The containers allow us store all our materials and keep them tidy. The gift card allows me to continue to find resources all year long. The new resources have allowed my students to dive deeper into hands-on learning experiences that spark their curiosity. One of the most exciting moments was when we used our new materials for a STEM project, where students built their own miniature bridges. Watching them collaborate, problem-solve, and test their designs was truly inspiring. These tools have not only enriched our lessons but have also fostered creativity and critical thinking in ways we couldn't before.\r\n\r\nThe excitement in my students' eyes when they first saw the materials was priceless.
