So my scholars are all from the worst parts of Washington D.C, which puts them at a disadvantage. Furthermore, they all have learning and behavioral disabilities. This is the first year we have a resource classroom and all of my scholars made significant progress in their academics and behavior. With little to no materials, my scholars still came prepared to learn with high heads and bright smiles everyday. The purpose of this project is to give my scholars an head start on next year's school supply list. They deserve and head start due to the fact that they're already working twice as hard to be successful. So with the help of your donations my students (12) will all have their school supply list for next year. I have 3 non-verbal students who could use a tablet to help with their learning. All of my students need back packs, pencils, paper and notebooks for this upcoming school year.
