If my project is fully funded, I will be able to learn and practice more ways to incorporate technology in the classroom for student interest. Student choice and interest is very important in my classroom because I want my students to feel like they own their own learning. When they are more engaged and interested they are more invested in their learning. During centers time, I will have a technology center where students can use the Samsung Galaxy Tablet in the classroom to learn and play. Even for morning meeting time, I will allow students to engage with this technology as we are starting our day. The technology will definitely help with what I am trying to accomplish in my classroom.
