We decorated the bags with the science stickers we received and filled them with candy and snacks. The middle schoolers were so appreciative, and have even invited us back to the \"big kid\" science lab so we can collaborate on more experiments this year. We also read the book, More Than Words, and had a discussion on what it means to appreciate and embrace the differences of others around us. We cannot thank you enough for these amazing resources that have truly impacted our learning and growth. Every day, I rotate students through different small group stations where they use these engaging materials to build essential literacy and math skills. The word pop game has become an instant favorite for practicing sight words, while the addition bingo makes math facts feel like a celebration rather than a chore. The sentence building dominoes have been particularly powerful - I watched one of my struggling readers successfully create his first complete sentence independently, beaming with pride as he read it aloud to his group. Just yesterday, during our phonics station, I overheard a student teaching another how to use the phonics dominoes to blend sounds together. \"Listen, it goes /c/-/a/-/t/ - cat!\" she explained excitedly. Seeing students become teachers for each other while using your donated materials was truly magical. We're planning to expand our small group rotations to include more collaborative games, and I'm already seeing improved confidence in both reading and math skills.
