I am requesting an iPad to provide my students more rigorous small group work. I would use the iPad to make sure that during small groups I can show a picture or an example of what we are discussing. If we were speaking about farm animals I would be able to for example show a horse being shoed and help them understand what it looks like. I could also show a sheep being sheared so the children would better understand that it is just like a shave. It would also give me the opportunity to collect the data from assignments as I walk around and collect papers because the device is so light weight and easy to move around with.
