As we move into our new module, I would like to give my students hands on activities to enhance their distance learning experience. Since the fall my students have been consistent with their learning, even while at home. The products I have selected will help my students by allowing them to better understand the power of wind and tornadoes. By having access to these materials, my students will be able to build their own battery operated Tornado by using a recycled bottle filled with water. Building their own tornado will help them to explore how wind can affect the weather. Although my students and their families have done extremely well virtually, most of my students become more engaged with hands on materials. I want to continue to enhance my students learning and these materials will aid me in extending the instruction far beyond the computer screen.
