Students often comment on how much they love it and how watching it helps them feel calm and relaxed. It has become a powerful visual tool for students who need a moment to breathe and reset before returning to learning.\r\nThe weighted stuffed animal has also been incredibly helpful. Students enjoy resting it on their laps while sitting on the couch in our calm area, which provides comfort and a sense of security. These items have helped students feel safe, supported, and better able to regulate their emotions. Having snacks available has helped students stay energized, focused, and ready to learn throughout the day, creating a more supportive and caring classroom environment.\r\n\r\nThe chair bands have also made a huge difference for my students who need movement to stay focused. Many of my fourth graders have fidgety feet, and the chair bands give them a quiet, appropriate way to move while still staying engaged in lessons. Since using them, I've noticed students are calmer, more attentive, and better able to regulate themselves during learning time.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has had a direct and meaningful impact on my students' daily success and well-being. The Alpha-bots have been a class favorite that all enjoy as they transform the letters into robots and back again. The magnetic letters have been a great resource for my students who have fine motor deficits. They allow them to manipulate letters to spell their names and recognize the letters in their names. The numbers and letters game has been a perfect way to incorporate learning and play all while learning a variety of number and letter skills along with cooperative play and social skills.
