The use of Chromebooks are a daily item in our room. We are working on learning in different reading and math programs to help with standards such as 2.NBT.B5 (adding/subtracting within 100) and RL 2.3 during small groups. My students have trouble navigating the sites and doing their online projects because it is hard for them to use the mouse pad on the Chromebook. Having headphones and a wireless mouse would help the students to be able to practice and learn more during these computer sessions. It would also provide a quiet place for them so that they can focus on their work and not hearing the computers of the other students. A pencil sharpener for our room and pencil pouches would help my students to be able to focus on keeping organized and being ready to learn daily no matter what task is handed to them. The laminating sheets would be helpful as well because I can keep our anchor charts up year round and provide students with flash cards and other materials that will last them all year.
