The new rugs have brought warmth, color, and comfort into our 3rd grade space. The moment my students walked in and saw them, their faces lit up with excitement. They immediately found their favorite spots to sit, work on math problems, do science experiments, and learn together.\r\nOur rugs have quickly become the heart of our classroom. We use them every day for morning meetings, class discussions, math,science, and small group lessons. Having a designated, comfortable area helps my students focus, collaborate, and feel a sense of community. The rugs also give us flexible learning spaces—students can spread out to work independently or gather close for class discussions.\r\nBeyond the learning benefits, the rugs have created a place where students feel safe, calm, and connected. It's amazing how something as simple as a rug can make such a big difference in how students engage and take pride in their classroom.\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting our classroom and believing in the power of creating joyful learning spaces. Your kindness has made a lasting impact on my students' daily experience and helped them love coming to school each day.","fullyFundedDate":1752834356447,"projectUrl":"project/engaging-spaces-for-all/9383321/","projectTitle":"Engaging Spaces for All","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Sadek","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9087229"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_46385","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":303,"numTeachers":43,"percentFrplEligible":85,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":73,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":19,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"7.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":63.1,"schoolId":46385,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Edison Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Edison Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/hillsborough-county-public-school-district/edison-elementary-school/46385"}
