The resources you helped provide brought our vision to life, allowing us to transform classrooms and hallways into vibrant displays of culture, learning, and joy.\r\n\r\nOur students utilized the new materials to research various Hispanic countries, create colorful flags, traditional crafts, and presentations that highlighted famous Hispanic leaders, foods, and traditions. Each grade level took ownership of a country, and students proudly shared what they learned through songs, posters, and interactive projects.\r\n\r\nThe week culminated in a beautiful school parade where students and parents joined together, walking around the school in celebration—waving flags, wearing traditional colors, and dancing to lively music. It was a moment of unity and joy that truly captured the spirit of community and appreciation for diverse cultures.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, our students didn't just learn about Hispanic heritage—they experienced it. One student said, \"It's like a movie!\" It is a teacher's dream to see the wonder come alive in their minds. Students talk to each other about how they loved reading their book exciting others to read it. Finally, having several copies of a book allows us to have reading groups of five students allowing us to dive deep into the books. Here we learn about author's purpose, culture, the lesson or moral, character traits, and many more literature features that is a catalyst to the curriculum of third grade. \r\n\r\nI can't forget the chart paper, this is a must have in this classroom.
