They were so excited to see all of the awesome new materials they received! The headphones are keeping them focused when they are completing assignments or an online assessment. The whiteboards, markers, and erasers allow students to participate in meaningful lessons in which all students can be engaged. They love being able to show off what they know about a topic and share their responses with others. The glue sticks also been useful because they allow us to complete crafts and other types of end of unit projects that tie everything together. The small group easel has helped me to present material in a way in which all students can engage and learn. And of course the kids all love the new prizes and incentives! They have been working hard to earn as many as they can! They took turns and shared ideas with each other as they figured out how to make it work. It was wonderful to see their teamwork and problem-solving skills come to life through play.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we plan to build on this excitement by incorporating the materials into more structured activities. Students will work together to design simple challenges, like obstacle courses, to practice working together and strengthen their problem solving skills. We will also connect outdoor play to classroom learning through discussions and storytelling.\r\n\r\nThese resources have supported important developmental and communication skills for my students!
