These supplies are vital for students to create and hang these items. \r\n\r\nThe students were beyond excited when they saw the brand new supplies for our classroom. Many students at CMS do not have access to new school supplies. Your generous donation guarantees that students will always have a pencil to use in class and other supplies for hands-on learning. \r\n\r\nLastly, we are beyond grateful for the jolly ranchers and Kleenex. Jolly ranchers are used as positive reinforcements through our Cougar Cash PBIS system. Now we are ready to dive in with learning about measurements while we cook. We will be learning to accurately measure, compare, and convert different measurements. \r\n\r\nThe adaptive handles have made so many materials accessible to some of our students to support their learning and participation in class. I am excited to see them be more involved in our cooking lessons this school year. \r\n\r\nSince Safety is such an important part of our lessons in the kitchen. I am excited to introduce knife safety to our students. We have had to limit our recipes due to our inability to use knives in the kitchen. With the knife safety kit we will be learning an important skill in a safe way!\r\n\r\nWhen students are able to make real world connections to their learning it helps with their skill growth and understanding.
