The pre-cut tennis balls on our chairs have made our room noticeably quieter, and my students immediately appreciated the change. They love that they can move their chairs without the loud scraping noise, and it has helped create a calmer atmosphere during independent work, reading time, and transitions.\r\n\r\nThe new books have also added so much excitement to our classroom library. Students have been exploring the new series at their own pace, and many of them are finding books that match their interests more easily. During independent reading, I see students settling in faster and showing more interest in what they are reading simply because there are more options that feel \"just right\" for them.\r\n\r\nA few students have shared how much they enjoy the quieter classroom and how the new books give them something to look forward to each day. These changes may seem small, but they have made a meaningful difference in our daily routines and in how students feel about learning. It helps me to manage 28 students in a school. \r\n\r\nThe next excitement is the Yoga mats. Our 5th-grade students need to pass the 5th-grade physical test—for example, push-ups, sit-ups. We can also practice Yoga poses during PE class and meditate to calm down and reduce stress. \r\n\r\nFinally, the dry-erase markers and mechanical pencils are saving us time in writing and assessment, and students love writing on the small whiteboard rather than on paper. This is extremely valuable in a world that expects many to in a certain way because of their gender. \r\n\r\nLastly, my students had a blast putting their reading comprehension skills to the test.
