Students were more focused, participated more, and were able to fully engage in the lesson without distractions related to hunger.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, they were genuinely excited and appreciative. Many expressed how happy they felt, and it created a sense of relief knowing they had access to what they needed. During our Black History Month monologue, poem, and spoken word performances, students used the materials to strengthen memorization, projection, and character development. One standout moment was watching a student who had struggled during our memorization check-ins deliver a fully committed and confident performance. The structure and support these resources provide have helped students take greater ownership of their preparation and growth.\r\n\r\nThe snacks have also played an important role in our classroom culture. They are used as incentives and small treats to reward preparation, meeting memorization goals, and positive participation during rehearsals. When students first saw everything, they were excited and motivated. The snacks help to create a sense of celebration around hard work. Moving forward, we will continue building on these skills through scene study and ensemble work, using both the resources and incentives to reinforce discipline, collaboration, and confidence in performance.","fullyFundedDate":1764711610161,"projectUrl":"project/snacks-for-the-drama-club/9919568/","projectTitle":"Snacks for the Drama Club","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Williams","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8820125_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1672474919265","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8820125"},{"teacherId":7589180,"projectId":9655956,"letterContent":"Receiving a gift card to purchase **Teachers Pay Teachers** materials has had a meaningful impact on my Spanish classroom, especially as we celebrate **Hispanic Heritage Month**. With these funds, I was able to select high-quality, culturally relevant resources that integrate technology in a way that supports student learning. Many of the materials include interactive slides, digital readings, videos, and formative assessments that students can access on their devices. This technology allows students to practice Spanish in engaging, real-world contexts while receiving immediate feedback, which helps them build confidence and improve their language skills more effectively than traditional worksheets alone.\r\n\r\nWhat excites students most about these new materials is how interactive and visually engaging they are. Instead of passively reading about Hispanic culture, students explore music, traditions, historical figures, and celebrations through multimedia activities tied directly to Hispanic Heritage Month. The lessons feel current and relevant, which increases participation and sparks meaningful discussions. Students especially enjoy activities where they can listen to authentic Spanish, analyze images, and collaborate with classmates, making the language come alive in the classroom.\r\n\r\nSeveral students who typically struggle with language learning or classroom participation have especially warmed to this technology. Visual learners benefit from the images and videos, while students who need more time appreciate being able to work at their own pace. I've seen quieter students become more confident as they engage with interactive tasks and demonstrate their understanding in new ways. Thanks to your generosity, these resources have helped create an inclusive, engaging learning environment where all students can connect more deeply with the Spanish language and Hispanic culture.","fullyFundedDate":1758216532362,"projectUrl":"project/celebrating-roots-inspiring-futures-h/9655956/","projectTitle":"“Celebrating Roots, Inspiring Futures: Hispanic Heritage Month Project”","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Cabrera","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7589180"},{"teacherId":10259914,"projectId":9712548,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your kindness toward our SkillsUSA chapter!
