  • Did You Say Flexible Computer Bar Station?

    I want to express my sincere appreciation for your support of my project "Did You Say Flexible Computer Bar Station?" Your contribution of the flexible seating options is a welcome addition to my learning space. The Bar Height Table Set with Padded Stools was received by the students I serve with a great deal of excitement. During brainstorming and reflective writing activities, and independent computer instruction students have migrated towards the flexible seating as a safe place to work.

    The bar station encourages student collaboration. My students enter and exit the space responsibly. Coming in my learning space and seeing students comfortable and safe brings me joy. The space is utilized both before and after school. While students are waiting for private lessons students sit and complete homework and just take a moment to relax.

  • Collision of Vocal Music and Literature

    I want to express my sincere appreciation for your support of my project A Memoir "Fire Shut Up in My Bones" by Charles Blow. Students have utilized the print material to discover their voice in performing arts. They found that they all have a story to tell. From their readings, students are citing textual evidence while writing and exploring events presented in book. While exploring the theme of how Art can imitate life.

    Students are participating in, in-class read a-longs with the requested resources, as well as deep discussions on social issues that will hinder a student's destiny. The book was also utilized as a gateway to social emotional learning as we explored bullying and coping mechanisms as a teenager when faced with a traumatic encounter. The final project was for students to begin their personal memoir and decide which performance medium they would choose to share their story. My students also were able to see the live stream of the operatic production.

    Performing arts is a unique way to allow students to express feelings and emotions while building self-esteem in a positive way. Finding your voice requires curiosity and quality resources to stretch imagination and active exploration of a variety of themes. Students were equally as impressed by the donation. They enjoyed my read along sessions imagine high schoolers completely engaged in the text moreover getting upset when I stopped reading because they wanted me to continue. This was quite impressive.

Teachers Pay Teachers Resources have proven to be engaging and reliable content that can easily and effectively be used in the music classroom. I was able to select digital resources that enhanced my instructional delivery.     For my students the resources are aiding my student's ability in notating, composing and exploring aspects of music history.   • Pitch and Rhythmic Composition

    I want to express my sincere appreciation for your support of my project "Pitch and

    Rhythmic Composition" the music staff manuscript books and pencils are a necessary tool utilized for Music Composition. My music theory and piano students were able to chronicle their growth and understanding in Music Theory and Piano this semester in an organized manner. The Staff paper has been utilized during individual and group instruction to enhance student knowledge. Music Theory develops and sharpens music student's analytical, critical thinking, and literacy aptitude.

    For my students the resources are aiding my students ability in notating and composing original music. The manuscript book gives them the ability to review and refine their notation practice in real time. It has also served as a reference source for students to review from when preparing for assessments. The tumble tower was added to support a positive and fun way to incorporate built in brain brakes for my students. In addition the Clorox wipes have helped me to keep my pianos and desk germ free.

  • Clean and Fresh Piano Surface

    I want to express my sincere appreciation for your support of my project "Clean and Fresh Piano Surface" Your contribution of Kleenex, Disinfecting Wipes, Music Staff Dry Erase Boards, and Laminating Pouches were received by the students I serve with a great deal of appreciation. The products listed provides safe cleaning resources that keep students safe from germs and viruses that can be transmitted by touching common surfaces. The dry erase boards and laminating pouches gave me a resource that keeps students from having to share.

    This donation had a major impact for my classroom. Even though we are currently doing face to face instruction, the residual effect of the pandemic lingers. Students are able to wipe down table tops, individual dry erase boards and piano keys prior to use. This ensures their safety during instruction. Removing the barrier of families being responsible for classroom supplies helps me to provide each of my students with exactly what they need.

It did not take long for students to see and understand how we would use the camera to support instruction and performances. The shift to digital performances has been a learning curve. The discovery of the various ways to film and capture performance has been an exciting process. The Panoramic Camera has not disappointed. The way we have been able to capture our digital performances has indeed been elevated..

    The Panoramic Camera is an additional way to capture student performances and is very different from what we capture on our camcorder and smartphone. Giving students industry-standard experiences in the performing arts is essential to their growth and development elevating our digital performances has helped to engage new audiences during this time of pandemic..

It did not take long for students to see and understand how we would use them to support instruction. All sound cues and light schemes can be controlled from the IPad,

    The The IPad is supporting students who are working in the light and sound booth in our school theater. Giving students industry-standard experiences in the performing arts is essential to their growth and development. Lights add nuance to scene studies. The IPad allows students more flexibility in controlling the sound light board digitally.
