These materials will help my students connect learning that takes place in the classroom to their out-of-classroom experience. This will also build & develop their individual skills in reading, writing, math, & other critical thinking content areas. I view this as an invaluable investment because my students will be entering into transition programs where they will need these immediate & everyday abilities for workforce. The goal will be for my students to be independent, reliable, respectful, & considerate individuals that employers, friends, & family can view as model citizens. Students will be responsible for creating either a Youtube, Powerpoint Presentation that includes multi-media &/or web-page that focuses on the lessons they learn & how the significance of how it relates to daily living skills.
