Students are able to have open discussions and respond to each other in the small setting. Conducting a novel study usually involves students reading chapters at school and if appropriate at home as well. This requires students to be responsible by reading the required chapters at home and also remembering to bring the book back to school each day. This is something we practice daily and allow students to develop this level or responsibility and independence. \r\nThese novels vary from fiction to realistic fiction and are relatable to students. As we are only 21 days into the school we have not had a chance to read the novels yet. However there are plans to read the novels with groups of students next quarter. These novels are on our reading list for the upcoming quarter. The lessons will incorporate empathy and thoughtfulness that all humans should have for others. These novels vary in subject matter however they are grade level appropriate. \r\nThank you so much for the donation of the novels. This is a diverse novel set that will reach various students on different grade levels. These novel sets will help students develop empathy and gain perspective on real world issues. These novels will allow students to develop and nurture a love for reading while learning vocabulary and reading comprehension. Again, my students, school community and myself thank you again for the generous donation of these novels for our students.","fullyFundedDate":1746786944070,"projectUrl":"project/award-winning-novel-sets-for-students/9098007/","projectTitle":"Award Winning Novel Sets for Students","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Brown","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8178096_orig.jpg?crop=336,336,x84,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1636741808260","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8178096"},{"teacherId":9932777,"projectId":9134634,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donation to \"Fueling Young Minds Snacks for Success\"!
