As a new teacher to the district, I was unable to order class sets of basic supplies to support student learning, such as cardstock & colored paper, glue sticks, pencils, highlighters, bulletin board borders, and Post-it easel pads.\r\n\r\nThe glue sticks, pencils, and highlighters have been used to stock my materials station, which is utilized by students to annotate their learning during class in their science notebooks. The markers and poster paper have been essential for various collaboration projects, including the creation of our classroom norms, which students worked together to develop in groups. The cardstock also helps me create classroom and seasonal decor that makes my classroom more colorful and welcoming for students while educating them about cultural holidays and awareness months.\r\n\r\nWe look forward to continuing to use all of the supplies you have allowed us to access.
