My students are constantly working on their communication and collaboration skills in our math classroom. Our students will use these materials to translate their thinking of abstract ideas to pictures, graphs and even use different colors, all for the whole class to see as a projected image. These activities will be used during whole class discussion throughout the day as we critique our own thinking and the thinking of others while learning together. Your generous donation to our project will improve our middle school mathematics classroom by building stronger collaborators, communicators, and critical-thinkers. Having an iPad in the classroom will allow mobile formative assessment results through apps and programs such as Doceri and Desmos.
