Writing Helps with Student Memory

Help me give my students notebooks, pencils, laminating sheets, and assorted paper that they need to learn.

My Project

I love to see students who are eager to learn. Therefore, my whiteboard is a focal point where students can see their lesson standards and "I can statement” daily.

I print the standards for each lesson on Astrobright paper, then laminate them for reuse so I can revisit standards often and place them on my whiteboard using magnets.

The board guides them daily by listing what will occur in class from start to finish each day. The whiteboard is engaging and attention-seeking. I change it up with different colors weekly.

Students can write a statement in the notebook to identify what they will learn or should know before leaving class each day. In addition, students can write essential vocabulary terms and pictures in their notebooks, which helps with their memory.
