We Need the Keys, Please!

Help me give my students a new digital piano for the music room, as our old upright piano has water damage, mold, and missing keys.

My Project

Recently, my music room experienced some flooding which damaged our one and only (very old!) upright piano. It is now very out of tune, growing mold on the back, and 3 of the keys simply don't make any sound. It is so frustrating during music class and after school chorus rehearsal to play this piano, as we are in dire need of a new one!

This project aims to provide my music students with a new digital piano for our music room so that they can have a quality instrument to sing/perform with during music classes and concert performances, and have a new keyboard instrument with professional-level tools made to create and perform original music for older students.

A new digital piano would allow the students to easily transport it from the music room to the cafetorium with ease (as it is less heavy than an old full sized upright wooden piano), allowing them to connect with the community through music. Also, its professional-level sounds, recording capabilities, and other features will provide a reliable instrument on which the teacher and students can create and perform.
