Enthusiastic, energetic, empathetic, creative, inclusive, and motivated are a few words that come to mind when thinking about the learners in my class. As an intervention teacher, I am given the opportunity to work with different students in a range of grades. I feel incredibly grateful to be able to interact with students who are curious, passionate, and so thoughtful. These students desire to succeed, and I consider it a gift that I am allowed to coach them and provide new pathways to success.

My Project
The wonderful books in this project will help ensure that my students have a variety of books to choose from to expand their skills as readers and to keep them interested in reading. I want my students to be able to read and listen to great stories, discover new things, and feed their imaginations.
While we already have single copies of each of these books in the classroom, I can't keep them on the shelf.
Having additional copies of these books will ensure I have enough for each child who wants to read one.
“The whole world opened up to me when I learned to read” – Mary McCleod Bethune
It is very important to help my students build a strong foundation in reading and because it can set them on the path to becoming lifelong learners. Thank you very much for your support!
