The students in the class have varying needs as they are at 2 different grade levels. Within the class there are gifted and talented students, students with disabilities, and English Language Learners. Despite this, the school has received Academic Achievement awards the past 6 years, is a California Distinguished School, a NASA Explorer school, and a School For Advanced Studies. These accomplishments are due to the strong partnership between school and home and we would love to throw community in the mix too. This is a school where high academic standards are maintained for all students in a safe and nurturing environment. The faculty and staff are lifelong learners themselves and foster that love of learning in their students. The faculty and staff work hard to ensure that the record of achievement continues.
