One special moment was watching a student who typically struggles with balance independently pedal the tricycle across the playground for the first time. \r\n\r\nThe students were absolutely thrilled when they first saw the parts and pieces of the tricycle coming out of the box. Their faces lit up with excitement, and they immediately began asking questions about how and when they could use it. Several students lined up right away, showing patience and enthusiasm as they waited for their turn. \r\n\r\nNext, we will incorporate the tricycle into structured lessons focused on following directions, building endurance, and practicing cooperative play. Students will take part in simple obstacle courses and themed activities that connect movement with classroom learning, such as counting laps or identifying colors and signs along a riding path. Whether we are working whole group or in small groups the tools help to keep the kids participating and engaged.\r\nWhen we opened the boxes they we so excited to try the materials, especially the small magnetic boards and magnetic letters. They are also being so good about putting the letters back in their appropriate place, little do they know that's also a skill (letter matching). All the materials are very user friendly and appealing due to their bright colors.\r\nAs the students grow in their ability to work independently and in their reading abilities,m these tools will meet their new needs.
