My Students

I teach two groups of 25 students each and they are eager to learn content areas in a new language.

They are fifty 5th graders and they are learning content areas using Spanish.

It is key to success to create a great environment in class. Subjects such as Science, Social Studies and Math will be taught in Spanish for half of the day. The other half of the day they are taught and reinforced in the English Class.

My Project

This project contains a new iPad that is going to be an essential tool in our class.

My fifty students will benefit from the virtual whiteboard to show: math demonstrations, writing examples, it will let me add audio notes on all those activities, and record lessons.

Also, it will be used to show experiments with details connecting the camera with the class projector. Creating animations in class and videos with chromas (green screen) will be another activity that will help all my students.

It is only one instrument but it is very powerful in a class.
