My project will help my students improve their Spanish and learn through manipulatives. They will be learning Science, Math and Social Studies in a foreign language so manipulatives and technology is key to success. They will be able to work independently and grow at their own pace through centers created with math manipulatives, tablets, They will be using wiggle chairs to be able to wiggle energy out. The tablets will be used with the XtraMath app in Spanish to practice their math facts up to 10. Plickers cards will be used to get data from each student as a formative assessment. The number line will be used to step on it when we use numbers in Spanish, it will help to get the corresponding number to the Spanish word. The clocks will be used to learn time. My students love to show time using those little clocks while their partner has to write the digital time in a whiteboard. Most of the materials will be used for centers to create different activities to be able to work with small groups and practice with a partner.
