My Project

At PVHMS, the teachers and students have worked together to revamp our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Reward System, and created a PBIS Rewards Store. Our Titans are learning that following the PBIS expectations and going above and beyond will not only benefit our school community, but will help them be more successful in their classrooms and with their studies. When they follow the expectations that are set forth, this will enable them to arrive to class on time, be focused, and be accountable. If they attend classes regularly and are focused, this will lead to higher scores and intrinsic pride. Our PBIS framework uses evidence-based interventions along with an integrated continuum that enhances academic and social behavior outcomes for all of our students. It is designed to support all students and to improve behavior and culture, which means we will see academic improvement as a result.

The PBIS rewards system allows them to earn points from teachers and staff that they can use to purchase many different goods.

The goods range from food items to gift cards, to electronics. This program will continue to help build community and promote positive behaviors on our campus, while also motivating our students to succeed. Behaviors like these will follow our students and allow them to be successful in the world. Help us give our students the opportunity for positive reinforcement and learning that they need to be successful members of society upon graduation by rewarding and encouraging positive behaviors. Our students will go far! They are focused, accountable and respectful!
