Help me give my students the equipment that they need to have a fun, safe recess time each day. We need fun stuff to do to keep us busy so that we don't get into trouble.

My Students

Our school is in the heart of Pittsburgh in the South Hills. Our students are amazing and work hard every day to be successful in the classroom. We have students from Pre-K all the way through 8th grade.

Our school is predominantly African American and most of our students are considered economically disadvantaged.

Despite the struggles some of them face, they come to school each day with a positive attitude and ready to learn.

My Project

These materials will make our recess time each day a lot more fun. Our students will have more things to do and will be able to stay focused and not get into trouble.

By having more equipment for recess, our students will be able to enhance their social skills while playing with one another and will also increase their fitness.

We want to encourage our students to be active during recess and getting access to more equipment will allow us to do so. We appreciate anyone who is able to help us.
