My Project

My school is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) school consisting of six fourth grade classes and a total of about 150 fourth grade students. This year, as a fun end of year, review activity my teammates and I would like students to be able to create their own board games. This incorporates all of the awesome STEAM qualities along with providing students the chance to review important Virginia History content for their upcoming state assessment.

The game pieces, dice, glue, cardstock, foam board, timers and other materials requested in this project will be available for students to use in creating their own unique board games to review the Virginia History content.

After creating their board games, students will be able to play the games their classmates created all throughout the fourth grade in a giant game day celebration. The resources requested will allow all six of the fourth grade classes to have access to a variety of creative materials that they can use in developing their unique board games.
