My Project

This project is geared towards helping my 2nd-grade students get the supplies we need for when September family donations run out. Some of my students have learning disabilities or have been in remote learning settings in the past. Our current class has a roster of 25.

This year, our school's budget was cut by over $500,000 and our class sizes have doubled, while staffing has decreased.

This makes having enough supplies for each student increasingly difficult.

As winter commences and spring approaches we find that we require more tissues than we do in the fall. We also tend to run out of gallon size food storage bags which we use for lunches and headphone storage. Some of our headphones which we purchased from the dollar store have also broken by this time of year. Our current easel, which we only have one of is also old and broken. We currently are making due with it; however we would love to toss it if we can acquire new ones. Your help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Having these supplies would help us provide a safer, cleaner environment for learning. It would also help us run phonics, reading, math, and technology lessons more smoothly.

We have been very lucky to receive donations in the past and our favorite donations are those that bring us the items that we so desperately need. Thank you so much for your continued support of our amazing students.
