Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to get Spanish books to add to our classroom library. Our current classroom library has NO Spanish books for my students. I have several students that have recently arrived and they have asked me if I could get them Spanish book. I would love for my students to be able to read these books in the classroom and at home.

Books allow students to practice reading and to learn about many things.

By adding Spanish book to our classroom library, my students would get the chance to practice their reading skills both in the classroom and at home. Books are an essential tool to all students, and that is why I would love to have Spanish books in our classroom library so that all my students have access to books in their native language.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
