Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Most of my students are English learners. Some show how sad they are when they don't understand something basic about nature or science. Many have learning disabilities. Having sensory kits and sequencing kits in the classroom will help them to understand for example the structure of a plant, the animals that live in different habitats and what fossils are.

My goal for them is to understand the Science content in a fun way.

At the end of the day they are kids. I want to give them the opportunity to learn what other kids learn even if they are still learning English. Many of them have special needs.

My students used to celebrate when they learned about new things in class and love to go back home and talk to their families about what they learned at school.
