My Students

After two years of learning interrupted by COVID restrictions, my students are loving being back in the classroom. They have been interacting with texts, doing their work on paper, and finding ways to socialize while also being socially distant.

My students are vibrant, energetic, and enthusiastic learners who have been itching to be in the classroom and get down to the business of learning.

My Project

With COVID-19 still around, my students are in desperate need of well-fitting surgical masks when theirs break or when they forget one. Our supply from the beginning of the year has dwindled.

Students love the exciting patterns and feel that the mask is also an expression of themselves!

They end up preferring to use mine instead of the boring white or blue masks they often have. As well, with our bathrooms being constantly vandalized by older students, my students need a consistent way to keep germs off of their hands. Having individual hand sanitizer will help with this.

Also, we've had a lot of our normal organizing supplies dwindle. Having a place for me to keep my papers organized at my small group table will make it so much easier for students to come to me for help without feeling crowded by papers. Students also need folders for all of the wonderful work they have been creating!
