Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are so creative and love to build! They are learning to play together and create stories about their projects.

The kinetic sand allows them to construct and reuse during centers and free play.

The students build castles with dragons, dinosaurs, ocean animals and communicate this with their friends. This play time helps them communicate, share ideas and enhance their vocabulary.

The students also learn by daily binders that enhance skills needed in life. Daily binders have a variety of skills specific to each student's needs such as counting money, calling 911, writing and adding/substracting. Each day presents a different skill.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
