Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These sets of decodable readers will continue to SPARK my upper elementary students' interest in reading. Students really enjoyed the Lost Dog series but now they have moved to a higher reading level. Our kids could not wait to get to the next book in the Lost Dog series and the Talisman book series is anticipated to have the same impact.

Our older students with learning disabilities LOVE these decodable readers that are accessible, high interest and help improve their phonics and fluency skills.

At the moment, our classroom only has one set and we need six sets for our Book Clubs. With Donors' help, we can provide a copy for each student. The readers are of good quality and durable so they can be used for many years to come. Please consider this project to support our students' continued progress in meeting their IEP goals and build confidence.
