Printer and Toner Needed for Seventh Grade ESL Students

Help me give my students a printer and toner to have materials in their native language and English.

My Students

My students come from many diverse backgrounds and speak many different languages. Some of them are new to the country and not native English speakers. This year, I will be teaching seventh grade students who might not have been in a classroom for close to two years due to COVID school closures and remote learning. Some of these students have never been in our school building before, nor have they met any teachers in person.

My Project

Imagine being new to this country and having English be your second or even third language. Now imagine your teacher being able to give you some of your work translated into your native language and in English. That would make understanding your class that much easier.

My students need a new laser printer and extra toner in order to have access to the material and to print completed writing pieces.

Having this resource will allow them to be more confident in their work.

This would make a world of difference in their daily school lives. These materials would be so important to these new middle schoolers and how they adapt to a new world around them.
