My Project

My four and five Pre-K students learn best with hands on learning centers. Having a pretend telephone will allow my students to practice speaking and learn new words that go along with our theme. The multicultural dolls will be used during our family and home theme. The towels will be used during our beach and ocean theme. I include a writing activity and books to my dramatic play center, so the dinosaur book will be a great addition. The storage containers will help us keep all the materials sorted and organized. By labeling the containers with pictures, the students can take an active role in helping to clean.

The dramatic play center gives my students the opportunity to interact with real life materials and develop their vocabulary skills.
